Alderwick James & Co

Alderwick James & Co is a professional accountancy practice located in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. We provide a full range of accountancy, taxation and business consultancy services to individuals and small to medium sized businesses. The practice was formed in 1991 by George Alderwick, a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Taxation Practitioner after a career of 12 years with firms in the City and a spell as a tax manager with an international oil company while completing a masters programme at London Business School.

At Alderwick James our aim is to give a very personal and high level of service to a small number of clients. This will ensure that clients get our full attention and we are able to answer their questions quickly and comprehensively.

We believe that there is a knowledge gap in many small and medium sized enterprises who cannot afford full-time financial expertise but would benefit from additional expertise and help in the management and planning of their business. We can fill this gap by becoming a virtual Financial Director.

For our first 12 years we concentrated on establishing the practice and providing traditional compliance services to our clients. Since 2002 we have added a range of services to help the owners of small to medium size businesses achieve better profits, sustained growth and ultimately a more valuable and rewarding business – and for ourselves considerable professional satisfaction.
